Purpose

One-of-a-kind multi-stakeholder workshop gathering together Patient Advocacy Group leaders, clinicians, researchers, young investigators, government partners, and industry to tackle cross-cutting issues shaping the future of the rare epilepsies. Expert presentations, dynamic panel discussions, and interactive table talks drive better outcomes for families living with these many complex disorders.

• Builds collaborations, launches new leaders, and accelerates discovery

• New collaborations between PAGs; industry and PAGs; PAGs and academic centers - inspired the creation of the Developmental & Epileptic Encephalopathy Clinical Research Network (DEECRN)

• Multiple collaborative federal government and other grant proposals between REN, member organizations and academia;

• Led to manuscript submissions, posters and more
